A custom built circus studio with 18' rigging points available for workshops, artist retreats and company residencies with lodging and meal options.
The Studio
The 24' x 44' custom designed circus building has two steel trusses offering multiple rigging points on adjustable pulleys, options for floor based anchors (wire, pole, eg), and wall points for vertical dance. The floor is smoothed cement with roll out carpet bonded foam and crash mats. Black and white backdrop options support photo and video shoots.

The wood for the structure was sourced on our property, and much of it was milled on site with our portable sawmill. With an eye to comfort, efficiency and sustainability, the space has heated floors that also keep it cool in summer.

The Location
The Studio is located on private Tinmouth Lake in southwest Vermont, with swimming, kayaking, hiking and biking from the doorstep. Accommodations are in the main house across from the studio and generally includes meals. The location is just 25 minutes from Rutland, Vermont which offers big town amenities including restaurants, groceries and more lodging options. Travel via the regional Rutland Airport or the larger Albany, NY airport. Amtrak travels from NYC to Rutland, VT. Pick ups may be arranged.
